Lucky Dube (South Africa)

Preview Lucky Phillip Dube was a South African reggae musician. He sang in English, Zulu, and Afrikaans. He is said to have been south African’s most successful artist. He started his music career sing Mbaquanga also known as Zulu pop music, before switching over to reggae. He continued with reggae because of the positive response he got from his fans, and because of the socio political messages he was able to convey through reggae. He won several awards such as the international artists of the year, best selling African recording artists amongst many others. In October of 2007 he was murdered, therefore a tragic end to such a talented individual.

Just A Band (Kenya)

Can I hear you say Just A band!!!! This has been long overdue. Lord knows I rocked their album title 82 to the ground, and I still do. In fact when I got my windows phone, it didn't feel complete until I had synched this album. Thats how talented these guys are. And before you listen to the album make sure you get awesome headphones, because personally you can fully enjoy and appreciate the breadth and depth of the sounds. I love their experimentations and their absolute uniqueness. Their sound is pretty badass (I know not very eloquent :( oh well). Enough said, Enjoy!

Wizkid or star kid or star boy I don't know which it is at this point. Anyway, I have been meaning to write about his recent video, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Seems like Wizzy made a deliberate attempt to step up from his "drop ya painttt" single.
After watching the video, I scrolled down to the comment section (sometimes I think that is my best part of the video...lol). Well, it seemed like most of the commentators observed similarities to Burna boy's run your race video.
Well here's Wizzy's and Burna's vid, you decide.
